Thinking FINALLY this roller coaster ride was nearing the end, I started assembling the desk. I can switch the screws with the correct screws once I got back. Despite not finding the exact size, I was pretty happy at this point - this would at least allow me to set up everything until I came back from traveling. I quickly went to the hardware store and was able to find the same diameter size but 1/8th length shorter. I ended up calling back customer service and was able to grab the size of the screws.
I needed to fly across the country the next day and I really did not want to wait another week of setting up furniture and unpacking. I called customer service and despite my very apparent annoyed attitude, he was quick to tell me this does not usually happen and he would place an overnight order the next day. I'm going to be honest, I was pretty livid at this point - mainly because it's been a couple weeks now since I've moved and still would not be able to set up my computer. Fully never sent me the screws (that was supposed to be included with the desk top) that attaches it to the legs. Relieved to have finally gotten everything, I started assembling the desk and quickly ran into Issue #2. Holiday season realistically extended the wait for this. I made the purchase on Dec 23rd and finally received the desk top on January 8th (I did receive all the other parts much earlier). " I'm admittedly a pretty impatient person so this irked me more than most, but I'll classify this is a minor annoyance and something that isn't a big deal. This came as a surprise as the page itself had said "Jarvis laminate desks ship next business day. I was notified that the Black Laminate Desk tops are made to order and takes about 8-12 business days to ship. Unfortunately, it went pretty downhill from there.Īfter I made the purchase, Issue #1 surfaced. I went ahead and purchased the Jarvis Black Laminate Standing desk 60x30, adding 1 Powered Grommet and Wire Management Kit. From browsing through this reddit, the general consensus was that the Jarvis was pricey but one of the best sit-stand desks in the market today. I've thoroughly enjoyed getting the chance to experience sit-stand desks at work and decided to break the bank and look for one of the best out there. Likely will not buy from Fully again.Īs a 28-year old with a recent major promotion and move to the big city, I wanted to reward myself and invest in myself and overall productivity. Customer service was quick to respond but did not really improve my purchasing experience. Terrible experience from purchase -> finishing set-up. I purchased the Jarvis Standing desk and I wanted to share my experience to those looking to purchase a sit-stand desk of their own.
